Botto to exhibit Err Hold at Art Basel in partnership with Fellowship.
We’re pleased to share Botto's participation in ‘Collaborations with the Artificial Self,’ an exhibition on AI’s historical artistic lineage, organized by Fellowship. The exhibition represents 16 artists who've made significant contributions to the early traditions of AI art to-date, including Elman Mansimov, Holly Herndon, May Dryhurst, and the late Harold Cohen, among others.
The exhibition will take place at the Digital Art Mile in Basel, Switzerland, and is hosted hosted by ArtMeta. This program will be conducted in conjunction with Art Basel, among the world's most prominent global art fairs.
The exhibition will feature Err Hold, work #025 from the Genesis period, as the concluding work of the show. The piece is one of only 6 remaining unsold Botto works, and is one that brings with it among the most unique backstories of any Botto work to date.
II. Botto IRL
p5.botto at Verse
On May 24th we celebrated the opening of of p5.botto, the first exhibition of Botto's ongoing experiments in code art at Verse in London. The show was accompanied by an exhibition text by writer and researcher Luba Elliot, and the opening also provided occasion for two excellent panel talks: Mapping AI Art Past, Present, and Future, and Curating and Collecting AI.

BIP-52: Botto @ Art Basel w/ Fellowship and Georg Bak
This proposal is to accept an invitation by Fellowship to exhibit at "The Digital Art Mile" Fair in conjunction with Art Basel in Switzerland from June 10th to 16th. For this exhibition, Botto will place Genesis Period work Err Hold for sale at a price point of 150,000 Euros

BIP-53: Adjusting LP Staking VP
This proposal is to increase VP generation per LP share by 33%, from 150 to 200 VP per week, maintaining a fixed rate per UNI-V2 token staked. Goals for this proposal include bolstering retention of LP providers, and in turn, fostering stability of liquidity.
BIP-51 (V2): Voting Point Reset
This BIP is an update of the previously drafted BIP-51, and proposes a basket of changes in how Voting Points are managed, with an aim to reduce development and user complexity of the VP system, boost weekly active participation, align more directly with Botto's training needs, and open up participation to anyone who visits the Botto website.
VII. Town Halls
In this town hall, we discussed the excitement for NFC Lisbon and Botto's p5.js solo show and panel on "Mapping AI Art" with Verse at Frieze Galleries in London. Upcoming proposals are highlighted, including the VP reset BIP and increased VP generation for LP staking. DAO members share ideas around tipping VP to enhance multiplayer experiences and "productize" the curator competitions on the new Botto site. We also remind everyone about the new voting interface being out for testing as a decentralized contribution.
Townhall #23: Botto x p5.js Solo Show with Verse in London
In this townhall, we discussed Botto's upcoming solo exhibition in collaboration with Verse in London, premiering Botto's experiment with generative art through p5.js. Jamie and Leyla from Verse provided insights into the importance of showcasing high-quality outputs, while Quasimondo, discussed Botto's autonomy and the need for qualified and thoughtful curation to achieve these results.
