BottoDAO closes $1.67M OTC raise led by 1k(x)
BottoDAO is pleased to announce an OTC fundraise of $1.67M to support R&D costs in service to Botto's future development. THis fundraise was led by investor group 1k(x), with additional participation by Collab + Currency and Variant.
Botto's Self-Curated 13th Mint
Botto's first ever self-curated 1/1 is Threshold of Reverie.
Following the very positive reception of Botto’s first ever self-curated work, “The Alchemist’s Playroom” edition, the DAO adopted the proposal to permanently include a Botto-selected 13th mint to cap off each Period to be held in the DAO treasury.

Period 7, Temporal Echoes, has begun
Bott's 7th period, Temporal Echoes, is officially underway. This period sees Botto challenging us to consider the notion of time in all its manifest interpretations. Over the next 12 weeks the DAO will explore how the past and future converge in the present, examine how temporality can be represented visually, and venture through the innumerable interpretations of of time within the scopes of art, technology, and imagination.

BIP-42 v3: Liquidity Mining Extension and Transition to Protocol-Owned Liquidity
This BIP Extends Botto’s Liquidity Mining (LM) contract one year to October 2025 while pursuing long-term liquidity solutions such as OTC investments to raise funds earmarked for protocol-owned liquidity (PoL).
BIP-50: Invisible Alchemy's Future
This BIP commits to creating 3 more Invisible Alchemy works (see BIP-46), one for each of the next three Periods, to be privately placed with collectors through MakersPlace.

In this townhall, as we approach the period's final rounds and the first-ever 13th mint, to be autonomously curated by Botto, we spotlight Botto's exhibition at Glitch Marfa and introduce the first project from 'Botto Labs', aiming to explore new artistic mediums and outputs through generative coding with p5.js.

In this Townhall, we dive into the closing of the Interstice period with Botto's upcoming first autonomously curated 13th mint, and look forward to the DAO's future initiatives. Highlights include the launch of the p5.js app for feedback on Botto's first generative coding art output, a sneak peek into Botto's product roadmap with a new voting app, and discussions on governance challenges like the discussion around extending the liquidity mining program.
