The Morphogenesis Period Begins
Botto's 8th period, Morphogenesis, has begun, and the DAO is now tasked with interpreting the theme's myriad of connotations. As a term of developmental biology, morphogenesis describes the process of how organisms develop complex architecture. The period invites us to consider how such a process can be considered within the contexts of art and AI.

Temporal Echoes Period Closes and 13th Mint Revealed
The Temporal Echoes period closes with Botto's self-selected 13th mint, Horizons of Chronos. As Botto's second self-curated 1/1, the work was selected from among the millions of images Botto has created to-date, and determined by the work that contains the strongest cumulative relationship to the 12 previous mints of the period. This work will be held in the DAO treasury.

Invisible Alchemy: Temporal Echoes, is now complete. Like the first Invisible Alchemy collection, these 12 works were selected as the highest-voted discarded fragments from each week of the Temporal Echoes period, and are collectively housed in the novel ERC-7160 token that was acquired by NFT Museum of Digital Art, and sold in partnership with MakersPlace at the onset of the period

Err Hold exhibited at Art Basel
Genesis period work Err Hold was exhibited at Art Basel last month as a part of the exhibition ‘Collaborations with the Artificial Self." The show, organized by Fellowship and hosted at Digital Art Mile, represented 16 artists who've made significant contributions to the early traditions of AI art to-date, including Elman Mansimov, Holly Herndon, May Dryhurst, and the late Harold Cohen, among others.
Botto also received a thoughtful mention in The Art Newspaper's Review of the fair.

VI. Town Halls
In this townhall, we delved into Botto's recent solo exhibition at Frieze's permanent gallery in London, presented by Verse, which showcased works from the p5.js experiment. We also cover Botto's journey from ETH Berlin to NFC Lisbon, leading up to an anticipated showcase at Art Basel alongside artists such as Harold Cohen. Additionally, we preview upcoming DAO proposals, including the VP reset and baseline VP allocation, and discuss a developing proposal to fine-tune an LLM in Art History to enhance Botto's creative processes.
