Invisible Alchemy: Temporal Echoes, is now complete. Like the first Invisible Alchemy collection, these 12 works were selected as the highest-voted discarded fragments from each week of the Temporal Echoes period, and are collectively housed in the novel ERC-7160 token that was acquired by NFT Museum of Digital Art, and sold in partnership with MakersPlace at the onset of the period.
Invisible Alchemy: Temporal Echoes, is the second of four IA collections that will be produced in 2024, one to coincide with each period in the current year.
The last work included in Invisible Alchemy: Temporal Echoes was the highest-voted work of the period, yet never received the single-highest vote in any of the period's twelve weeks.
The piece, Dawn's Metropolis in Echoes, shares aesthetic heritage with much of the work we saw in Botto's Genesis period. It features a streetscape that is rendered in a Cézanne-esque composition that combines multiple viewpoints into a single, tangled perspectival space.
The full collection may be seen both in the slideshow below, and in Transient Labs' new UI for ERC-7160 tokens.
